It was never meant to be. Upon the singer’s departure in early 2021, the remaining bandmates found themselves at the crossroads. The old band would never be the same anyway, and quitting is for losers. And so, infused by the imagery of an iconic Finnish music video from the 80’s, Plastic Cobra has come to life.
Artem (guitar), Janne (bass), Jukka (keys) & Antti (drums) pour influences from their disparate musical backgrounds into a cauldron where seethes an eclectic instrumental brew. Sprinkle it with unhealthy amounts of 7th chords, harmonic minor scale, and bass wah – and you’ll get a potion that cures plague and opens a secret passage to the Moon.
